What we collect
When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We store this to identify your account.
We also store your learning progress: lessons completed, XP earned, streaks, hearts, and quiz results. This is the core data needed to run the app.
What we don't collect
We do not collect payment information, sell your data to third parties, run behavioural advertising, or use tracking pixels.
How we use your data
- To display your progress, streak, and leaderboard position
- To schedule spaced-repetition reviews
- To improve the content and fix bugs
Data storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon and the app is hosted on Vercel. Both are based in the United States.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@yamlingo.dev and we will process it within 7 days.
